A training room in Kinshasa, built for teaching
Fourteen seats, a whiteboard and full AV, in a room laid out for a session that runs all day rather than a meeting that runs an hour.
- Capacity
- 14 people
- Booking
- Hourly, half day or full day
Why run your training here
A training day fails on logistics far more often than on content. This room is set up so the logistics are not your problem.
- 1
Laid out for a room facing forward
Seating that faces the front, sightlines to the board from every seat, and space to move between rows. A boardroom table does not do this.
- 2
The day does not stop
Backup power and a backup internet connection, so a grid cut does not end a session you have fourteen people sitting in.
- 3
Refreshments handled
Tea, coffee and water are included and continuous, and the kitchenette and lounge are there for the breaks.
- 4
Your participants are received
Reception welcomes them at the door and points them to the room, so you are not standing in a corridor collecting people.
- 5
Pay for the hours you use
Hourly, half day or full day. A two hour workshop does not cost you a whole day.
Who uses it
It suits anyone who teaches a group of roughly ten to fourteen people.
Training providers
A room you can book repeatedly for a course that runs over several weeks.
Corporate learning teams
Onboarding, compliance and skills sessions, away from the office and its interruptions.
Independent instructors
A professional room without the cost of holding one all year.
Software and product teams
Rollout sessions and user training where everyone needs to see the same screen.
Associations and NGOs
Workshops and capacity building sessions with a room that is easy for participants to reach.
What is in the room
Everything below comes with the booking. There is nothing to hire in.
Fourteen seats
Comfortable enough to sit in for a full day, which is the actual test for a training room.
Whiteboard
A full board at the front, for the half of teaching that does not fit on a slide.
AV and presentation equipment
Display and sound, ready to connect, so you are not troubleshooting a cable while the room watches.
Fast internet with a backup line
For you and for fourteen people all connecting at once.
Break space next door
The kitchenette and lounge are steps away, so breaks stay short and people come back.
