KinKonnects is a coworking space located at Tour D, The Promenade II, 1er & 2e niveaux, Croisement des avenues OUA et Massamba, Ngaliema, Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. KinKonnects is responsible for the personal data collected on www.kinkonnects.com and in the course of our dealings with you.

When you fill in our contact form, we receive:

• your name, your email address and, if you provide it, your phone number;
• the space you are interested in and the content of your message;
• the language of the site you used, and the date and time you sent it;
• an approximate location (city and country), worked out automatically from your IP address by our hosting provider. We do not store your IP address with your enquiry.

When you contact us by phone, WhatsApp, email or social media, we receive the information you choose to share with us.

When you book a space or become a member, we collect the information needed for the booking, the contract and invoicing, for example your name, your company name, your contact details and your billing details.

When you browse the site, technical information is processed automatically: device and browser type, pages viewed, approximate country. Our hosting provider also processes your IP address to deliver pages and to protect the site against abuse.

We use your information to:

• reply to your enquiries and arrange a visit;
• send you an offer or a quote;
• manage your bookings, your contract and your invoicing;
• understand how the site is used, as statistics, so we can improve it;
• protect the site against spam and abuse;
• meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal data. Your name, email address, phone number and message are never passed to our analytics tools.

By sending us an enquiry, you agree that we may use the information you provide to reply to it and follow it up. You can withdraw this consent at any time by writing to us.

When you become a member, we process your information to perform the contract between us, and where the law requires it, to meet our legal obligations.

Your information is available to the KinKonnects team handling your enquiry. To run the site and our communications, we use the following service providers, who process data on our behalf:

• Vercel: website hosting;
• Google: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Maps;
• monday.com: tracking the enquiries received through the form;
• Meta (WhatsApp): notifying our team when an enquiry arrives, and talking with you if you message us on WhatsApp;
• our email provider, for our email exchanges.

We may also disclose information to the authorities where the law requires it. Apart from these cases, we do not share your personal data with third parties.

The providers listed above run servers located outside the Democratic Republic of the Congo, notably in North America and Europe, so your information may be processed there. We use recognised providers that apply security and confidentiality measures.

• Enquiries sent through the form: for as long as needed to reply and follow up, after which they are deleted.
• Information linked to a contract and invoicing: for the length of the contract, then for as long as our legal and accounting obligations require.
• Google Analytics statistics: for the retention period set in Google Analytics.

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to your information is limited to the people who need it to handle your enquiry. As no system is completely secure, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can ask us at any time to:

• access the information we hold about you;
• correct it if it is inaccurate;
• delete it;
• stop using it, or withdraw your consent.

If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you can contact the Congolese authority responsible for the protection of personal data.

We process your data in line with the law applicable in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, notably the 2023 Digital Code (Code du numérique).

Our services are intended for adults and professionals. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18.

Our site links to WhatsApp, Google Maps and our social media pages. Those services have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.
