Virtual office in Kinshasa: who is it enough for?

A virtual office solves an address, not a place to work. Here are the four situations where it is enough and the three where it costs more than it saves.

Rows of workstations with people at work, under the title: virtual office in Kinshasa, who is it enough for

The virtual office is the cheapest format and the most often mis bought. It solves one specific problem: having a commercial address and a professional presence without renting space. It solves nothing else.

What it usually includes

  • A commercial address and a certificate usable officially.
  • Mail receipt and notification.
  • Often a business phone number or call answering.
  • An allowance of meeting room hours, for the times you need to host.

The four cases where it is enough

  1. 1.A services company whose team is permanently at client sites.
  2. 2.A foreign company needing a legal presence in Kinshasa without putting a team there.
  3. 3.An independent consultant who works alone and travels.
  4. 4.A structure in a testing phase, before knowing whether the Congolese market justifies an office.

The three cases where it is not

  1. 1.You receive clients more than once a week. The hours allowance goes quickly and overage is expensive.
  2. 2.Your team needs to work together regularly. Cafés do not hold three people three days a week.
  3. 3.You store equipment or files. An address stores nothing.

The question that decides it

How many times a month do you need to physically be somewhere professional? Below twice, a virtual office is the right answer and paying more would be a mistake. Above eight, you are paying twice: the subscription and the overage.

What to check before subscribing

  • Is a certificate of address provided, and can you see an example?
  • Do the premises actually exist and can you visit them?
  • How many room hours are included, and at what rate beyond?
  • Can you move to a dedicated desk or office at the same address?

At KinKonnects

The address here has a real space behind it, with meeting rooms you can book and a team on site to welcome your visitors, and you can move into a desk or an office at the same address as you grow. For what is included and the current terms, call +243 961 000 077 or write to info@kinkonnects.com and we will send you the details.

The address is in Ngaliema at the OUA and Massamba crossing, in a real space with meeting rooms and offices, open 7am to 10pm Monday to Saturday.

FAQ

Can a virtual office be used to register a company?

If the provider issues a certificate of address accepted by the guichet unique, yes. Ask to see the document before paying.

Can you move from virtual to a physical office?

Yes, and staying at the same address avoids redoing official formalities. Check the provider offers both.

Do unused meeting room hours roll over?

Rarely. Assume they expire at month end unless stated otherwise in writing.

Kinshasa workspaces compared

A comparison is only worth anything if it is dated, sourced and willing to say a competitor does something better. This one is.
